Call Charges

As the leader or participant to a conference call you may find yourself out of the office, working from home for example, where you may incur call charges on your regular telephone bill.

There are two ways to avoid paying call charges.

Firstly, ask that the service calls out to you. This is only convenient if you know where you’ll be at the appointed time, as you’ll need to provide your telephone(s) number to the leader of the call.

The second way is to ask the call leader to supply you with a freephone number.
In the UK Freephone numbers start with 0800 and 0808.
Freephone numbers are available for over 100 countries.
